I love this! I typically get overwhelmed when I need to get a lot of stuff done. I use the email snooze button A LOT and the event/task with email reminders as well. I think being able to recognise that we have a finite amount of time to use wisely is key. However, that said, I always think (this is the crazy sci-fi in me) that we can somehow "manipulate" time to stretch it, wind it back and even speed it up! We just haven't found that secret sauce yet.

Trust me as a baseball player in my past life, the brain can in fact manipulate time. In everyday life it happens often, think of when you drop a glass, there are times when you can catch it before it hits the ground, and the "slowness" of the object falling is vivid. Not sure we can rewind just yet, but slowing down time is certainly a thing. Perhaps the study of history is a "rewind" or just an echo of the rhyme.

I call this the 'squirrel effect' I get a great idea and want to drive forward without completing the task at hand. Good call out to 'shelve' that idea.
