For 15 years I walked past that black piece of furniture every single day.
Heavy.
Ugly.
Safe.
Here’s the thing. The orange sofa was already in the room. VengaDragon is orange and blue. I’m a Mets fan. These colours are not new to me. They are basically my personality.
The foyer just hadn’t caught up yet.
One weekend I stopped waiting. Bought some pictures. Made some changes. Put on Spanish music and went for it.
The room felt different immediately. Not because the colours were new. Because the room finally matched everything else.
That’s it. That’s the whole story.
The door opens now and the first thing you see is colour. Took 15 years. Worth it.
About the 55/35 method
The 20-year gap is the weapon. Pattern recognition from decades of cycles applied to today’s tools and today’s speed. We move fast. But we move with weight.
